Interventions & Care Technologies

중재·돌봄 기술
감각 자극, 인지훈련과 돌봄 프로그램을 임상적으로 평가하고 일상생활에서 활용 가능한 중재를 연구합니다.

01Research question · 연구 질문

Can interventions engage relevant brain processes while improving outcomes that matter in daily life?

뇌 반응의 변화가 인지기능과 일상생활의 의미 있는 개선으로 이어질 수 있는가?

02Methods & cohorts · 방법·코호트

Non-invasive neuromodulation

Research includes light-based gamma entrainment and wearable stimulation technology, combining device engineering with EEG and tolerability assessment.

Cognitive training & multimodal programmes

MCET combines cognitive and other structured activities. The programme portfolio also includes Finger-to-Brain, verbal-fluency/naming applications and activity- or location-based cognitive training.

Care & family support

Care research includes the Korean Couples Life Story Approach, dementia-care surveys and multimodal prevention programmes. Earlier projects provide a foundation; their historical descriptions are not recruitment announcements.

Clinical-study design

Controlled and randomized designs, standardized cognitive outcomes, functional measures and participant experience are used to distinguish physiological responses from clinically meaningful benefit.

See-through OLED glasses for gamma entrainment

The wearable-glasses study demonstrated gamma entrainment and changes in brain connectivity under see-through, ambient-light conditions, with reduced visual discomfort. The study involved healthy adults and did not establish treatment efficacy in Alzheimer disease.

Testing multimodal cognitive enhancement

In a randomized crossover trial in mild cognitive impairment or mild dementia, MCET improved global cognitive measures and selected behavioral and quality-of-life outcomes relative to mock therapy. The findings apply to the studied programme and trial conditions.
